North Potomac is an unincorporated community in western Montgomery County, Maryland, positioned between the City of Rockville to the east and the Potomac area to the south. The community is defined by large single-family homes on half-acre to one-acre lots, heavily wooded streets, and a quiet, established character that has made it one of the more desirable addresses in the county. Most of the housing was built between the 1970s and early 1990s, with Colonial two-stories and traditional-style homes making up the dominant architectural types. Many homes feature brick or brick-accented exteriors and attached two-car garages with long concrete driveways - all surfaces that are now 30 to 50 years old and due for evaluation.
The community borders Seneca Creek State Park to the north and west, giving many neighborhoods a wooded backdrop and easy access to trails and open space. Quince Orchard Road is the main north-south artery through the area, lined with neighborhoods, schools, and local shopping. Residents are close to employment centers in Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Washington, D.C., and many work in federal government, technology, or healthcare. We serve North Potomac alongside neighboring Rockville and Potomac, and if your property sits near either of those boundaries, we are already familiar with what the homes there look like and what they typically need.
