Montgomery Village is a large planned community in Montgomery County, Maryland, developed starting in the mid-1960s by the Kettler Brothers as a self-contained neighborhood with lakes, walking paths, community pools, and shared green spaces. With a population of roughly 32,000, it is one of the larger unincorporated communities in the county and sits immediately north of the City of Gaithersburg. The housing stock reflects its development era - colonials, split-levels, and ranch homes built between 1965 and 1990 make up the majority of the neighborhood, with a significant share of townhomes and condominiums as well. Most of those homes are now 35 to 60 years old, which puts a lot of their original concrete flatwork well past its intended service life.
The community is anchored by Lake Whetstone and several other man-made lakes, surrounded by walking paths maintained by the Montgomery Village Foundation. Many homes back up to these lakes or wooded buffers, which creates its own set of drainage and moisture considerations for exterior concrete work. Major roads through the community include Goshen Road, Montgomery Village Avenue, and Father Hurley Boulevard - and residents are close to employment centers along the I-270 corridor in Gaithersburg and Rockville. We serve Montgomery Village alongside neighboring Gaithersburg and Derwood, and if your property sits near the boundaries between these communities, we can handle concrete work on either side.
