Germantown is one of the largest communities in Montgomery County, with roughly 90,000 residents spread across a series of planned villages developed starting in the 1970s. Neighborhoods like Churchill, Kingsview, Gunners Lake, and Clopper's Mill each have their own character - a mix of colonial and split-level single-family homes, attached townhomes, and shared green spaces. Home ownership rates are high, and the median household income is well above the national average, reflecting the large number of residents who work in federal government, defense contracting, and biotech along the I-270 corridor. The Seneca Creek State Park runs along the community's southern edge, providing hiking and recreation space for residents from Germantown and neighboring communities alike.
Germantown is bordered to the south by Gaithersburg, where we also serve homeowners, and to the north by Clarksburg, another growing community in upper Montgomery County. The housing stock across Germantown skews toward brick-front colonials and townhomes built in the 1980s and 1990s, many with small rear patios and mature tree canopies that are a mix of attraction and maintenance reality. The BlackRock Center for the Arts on Germantown Road is a recognizable landmark for longtime residents - a short drive from many of the neighborhoods where we do most of our concrete work.
